Belgium in the Eurovision Song Contest 2016

Belgium will participate in the Eurovision Song Contest 2016 in Stockholm, Sweden. Their entry and singer will be selected through the national final ''Eurosong 2016'', organised by the Flemish broadcaster Vlaamse Radio- en Televisieomroeporganisatie (VRT). The artist and song will be chosen on 17 January 2016.

(詳細はtitle=Belgium Country Profile )〕 Its best placing in the contest was its only win, which it achieved in 1986 with the song "J'aime la vie" performed by Sandra Kim. Belgium's worst placings came in 1962 and 1965 where it placed last with nul points with Fud Leclerc singing "Ton nom" and Lize Marke singing "Als het weer lente is", respectively. In 2015, Loïc Nottet represented the country with the song "Rhythm Inside" after being selected internally by Walloon broadcaster RTBF. It placed fourth in the finals with 217 points, the highest number of points Belgium has ever received.
Belgium confirmed its participation in the 2016 contest in May 2015.
